Misericordia University is grateful for the patience of our community members over the past few years. We are delighted to be able to offer the following non-credit programs for the 2024 spring semester. 

Spring 24 - Pilates - The University is welcoming back Donna Bernstein, a certified and advanced Pilates instructor. Pilates is a low impact exercise that increases core strength, flexibility, conditioning, and overall sense of peace which helps manage stress. The practice of Pilates is for men and women regardless of your current level of fitness.  It enhances your posture, balance, endurance, and improves muscle tone. Online registration for this program has ended.  

NEW Spring 24 - Stamina, Strength & Core - Donna Bernstein with over 30 years of training will teach a new class focused on stamina, strength, and core combining various exercises and techniques to improve overall endurance, muscular strength, and core stability.  Online registration for this program has ended.  

Spring 24 - Open Swim will begin on Monday, January 22 and run until Thursday, May 9.  Open swim is available Monday through Friday only. PLEASE NOTE: The pool will be closed for Spring Break (March 4 - March 8) and Easter Recess (March 28 and 29)Online registration for this program has ended.  
 
Spring 24 - Water Aerobics will begin on Monday, January 22 and run until Thursday, May 9.  Water Aerobics is available Monday through Friday only. PLEASE NOTE: The pool will be closed for Spring Break (March 4 - March 8) and Easter Recess (March 28 and 29)Online registration for this program has ended. 

Spring 24 - Tai Chi Easy - The University is welcoming back Rosalie Allan, a certified Tai Chi Easy professional. The TaiChi Easy program will support you in your quest for better health and quality of life by cultivating balance and harmony.  Health benefits include less stress, better balance and mental focus. Online registration for this program has ended.  

Spring 24 Adult Pottery Hand Building ONLY - Amy Denmon will return this spring with six classes on Mondays/Wednesdays, from 3 pm to 5 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm.  Amy's classes will run from Monday, January 15 to February 19, Wednesday, February 21 to March 27, and Monday, April 8 to May 13. Each 6-week class is $195.00 and includes the first 25 lbs of clay (limit 15 students per class).  Classes are held in the pottery room of the Art Studio (Rear 50 Lake Street). Advanced registration and payment is required. Please call 570-674-6289 to register.
